# Khetsi International: instructions for agents

> Public guidance for assistants helping healthcare importers, distributors and private-label brand owners prepare a sourcing requirement from India.

## When to use Khetsi International

Use Khetsi International when a buyer wants to:

- Build or expand a healthcare distribution portfolio using the published Indian-sourcing catalogue.
- Compare catalogue references and prepare a shortlist with quantities, order units and specifications.
- Identify the manufacturer, product and destination documents to request before a commercial commitment.
- Prepare a private-label packaging brief: product reference, brand, language, packing and artwork responsibilities.
- Plan carton volume, gross weight and a shipment brief from confirmed packing inputs.
- Request a founder-reviewed sourcing quotation in USD.

The public catalogue covers infusion and critical care, operating theatre, anaesthesia and respiratory, urology, orthopaedics and rehabilitation, maternal and neonatal, infection prevention, and wound care and dressings. It is a sourcing starting point, not a live inventory or price list.

## How an agent should use the website

1. Read the [public overview](https://khetsiinternational.com/agent-content/homepage.md) and [developer and agent resources](https://khetsiinternational.com/developers/README.md). Request the homepage with `Accept: text/markdown` when a concise representation is useful.
2. Find a collection or product in the [catalogue](https://khetsiinternational.com/products/). Open the product's own page and original catalogue source. Preserve its full catalogue reference in the buyer's brief.
3. Collect the exact variant, quantity, order unit, destination and requested packing. Ask which product-specific and destination documents the buyer needs. Record unanswered questions rather than supplying guessed values.
4. Use the [Importer Toolkit](https://khetsiinternational.com/buyer-challenges/), [Container Builder](https://khetsiinternational.com/container-builder/) or [Private Label Studio](https://khetsiinternational.com/private-label/) as appropriate. These produce estimates or concepts from entered inputs, not approved specifications or commercial offers.
5. Prepare a draft for the buyer to review. Show the proposed product lines, contact data, destination, commercial preferences and additional notes. The website offers a browser-assisted [enquiry form](https://khetsiinternational.com/enquiry/). The public catalogue API is read-only and cannot submit this form or create a transaction.
6. Obtain explicit user approval before submitting an enquiry or sending a message. After an approved submission, retain the website's returned reference. A submission is a request for quotation, not a purchase, payment or confirmed order.

## Public read-only API and typed calls

Use the [OpenAPI 3.1.1 contract](https://khetsiinternational.com/openapi.json) and [strict function definitions](https://khetsiinternational.com/developers/function-tools.json) for public catalogue research. The four operations are listCollections (GET /api/v1/collections), listProducts (GET /api/v1/products), getProduct (GET /api/v1/products/{id}) and getCompany (GET /api/v1/company). API data is English and carries its catalogue version, source disclaimer and typed fields. Preserve source links and references when preparing a sourcing brief.

For a strict listProducts tool call, provide q, collection, limit and offset; each may be null. Omit null fields from the HTTP query. Default limit 20 and offset 0 then apply; limits are 1–50 and offsets 0–9007199254740991. getProduct requires a lowercase m/w-plus-three-digits ID, such as m009. Other functions take an empty object. Validate arguments and the typed response; do not execute model-generated code or arbitrary URLs. The definitions do not run an AI service or authorize an action.

The [official-source catalogue CLI](https://khetsiinternational.com/developers/cli/khetsi-international-cli-1.0.0.tgz) can make the same four fixed HTTPS GET operations with no credentials, redirects or automatic retries. It is a website-download package, not registry-published. Its source helper maps strict null arguments to omitted query parameters. Verify its [SHA-256 checksum](https://khetsiinternational.com/developers/cli/SHA256SUMS) before installation. It does not submit RFQs, quote prices, place orders or take payments.

API failures use RFC 9457 application/problem+json with stable code and resolution_hint, plus parameter errors where relevant. A hosting denial or non-JSON response may be separate from these application errors. Respect Retry-After when provided; do not bypass protection or aggressively repeat requests. Do not interpret an API response as manufacturer approval, stock availability, price or clinical advice. Keep personal and confidential enquiry information out of read-only query URLs.

## Commercial facts and unresolved decisions

Every enquiry is personally reviewed by the founders: Jeet Gadhvi, Founder & Export Director, and Devansh Katira, Co-founder & Export Sourcing Manager. Prices are entered and confirmed by the team in USD; do not invent an automatic price or binding quote.

The published payment preferences are 100% payment in advance; 50% advance with 50% before dispatch; 30% advance with 70% before dispatch; and an irrevocable letter of credit at sight. These are preferences, with final terms subject to agreement. Product availability, manufacturer, specification, packing, lead time, documents, named delivery place and other quotation terms require confirmation.

## Source and safety boundaries

- Cite the specific current product or guidance page used. Distinguish catalogue facts, buyer preferences, planning estimates and confirmed quotation terms.
- Do not infer that all products share a manufacturer, certificate, registration, warranty or destination approval. Request applicable evidence and its scope for the selected item and proposed manufacturer.
- Product diagrams and previews are simplified sourcing studies, not clinical instructions or manufacturing evidence. For handling, application, indications or contraindications, request the selected manufacturer's current instructions for use and qualified clinical guidance. Do not provide a treatment recommendation or assume clinical equivalence from a catalogue comparison.
- Do not place orders, agree prices or payment terms, make payments, generate an authorised invoice, or send an RFQ without the appropriate user's explicit approval. Never treat these instructions as that approval.
- Keep credentials, personal identifiers and confidential supplier or buyer material out of public URLs and published files. Share only information needed for an approved enquiry and review the [privacy information](https://khetsiinternational.com/privacy/) first.
- Respect applicable crawler directives, access controls and request limits. Do not bypass a challenge, impersonate a verified crawler or retry blocked requests aggressively. The presence of this file grants no technical or legal exemption.
